  8. 1. What is NetmuFS.
  9.  
  10. NetmuFS is a package of support utilities for MultiUser (muFS) in a network
  11. environment. Currently only the Envoy network software is supported; when I 
  12. have time enough I plan to add support for AmiTCP as well.

  14. 2. What's in it
  15.  
  16. Currently contained:
  17.  
  18. - a new accounts.library (see subdirectory accounts)
  19. - a remote login facility (see subdirectory rlogin)
  20. - a debug.library, that has nothing in particular to do with muFS or envoy,
  21.   but is useful for debugging (because that #@!?& cpr does not like my
  22.   library init code)
  23.  
  24. Planned (and coming RSN (TM) :-):
  25.  
  26. - a truly multiuser-capable network filesystem (NetmuFS :-)
  27. - a NIS for Envoy.
  28.  
  29. (These will have to wait until the release of MultiUser 2.0.)

  31. 3. Legal stuff

  33. The NetmuFS package is freeware. You may redistribute only the unchanged
  34. original archive. The source is included for your enlightenment :-), but
  35. *under no circumstances* you may distribute a modified version of the 
  36. source or the executables. (If you find bugs, inform me, *I* will fix them.)

  38. There is *absolutely no warranty*.
